About Ms. Claudee
Hi, I’m Ms. Claudee.
I am a registered counsellor, social worker, and teacher in Malaysia. My passion for counselling is rooted in the power of connection — and the belief that we can all grow through life’s challenges.
I have had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life — children, teens, adults, and seniors — across schools, hospitals, mental health clinics, and community organisations.
Kintsugi — my philosophy
We can become each other’s gold.
The Japanese art of Kintsugi — repairing broken pottery with gold — speaks to me deeply, both personally and professionally. Our struggles and vulnerabilities are not things to hide. They are opportunities for healing and growth.
Life’s challenges do not break us; they help us rebuild into something stronger and more beautiful. And through this process, we can become each other’s gold — offering support, kindness, and a little light when it is needed most.
— Ms. Claudee
How I work
Empathy, understanding, and unconditional positive regard.
My approach is rooted in humanistic counselling: I believe in the innate worth of every person, and in each person’s potential for growth, healing, and self-actualisation. Within that, I draw on a range of approaches and tailor them to each person’s unique needs.
Gestalt therapy
Becoming aware of the present moment and what you are feeling, here and now.
Positive psychotherapy
Building on your strengths and wellbeing, not only what feels broken.
CBT & interpersonal therapy
Practical tools for unhelpful thought patterns and relationship difficulties.
Mindfulness
Gentle grounding practices to steady the mind and settle the body.
Psychoeducation
Understanding what is happening to you, in plain and honest language.
Philosophical counselling
Quiet reflection on meaning, values, and the direction of your life.
