Privacy Policy
Your privacy, held with care.
Effective date: 12 July 2026 · Ms. Claudee Counselling · Company Registration Number: 202503082649 (JR0175558-W)
Counselling is built on trust, and that begins with how your information is handled. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have — in line with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
Information we collect
When you reach out by WhatsApp, phone, or email, we receive the details you choose to share — typically your name, contact number, and a brief note about what brings you here. If you become a client, session records and clinical notes are kept as part of providing safe, professional care.
How your information is used
Your information is used only to respond to your enquiry, arrange and provide counselling sessions, keep accurate clinical records, and process payments. We do not sell your personal data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for marketing.
Confidentiality and its limits
What you share in counselling stays between us. The rare exceptions — explained clearly before we begin — are where disclosure is required by law, or where there is a serious risk of harm to you or to someone else.
Third-party services
Conversations over WhatsApp are protected by WhatsApp’s own end-to-end encryption and are subject to its privacy policy. Online sessions take place over the video platform we agree on together. This website is hosted by a third-party provider and may use basic cookies for essential site functions; we do not run advertising or tracking pixels.
How long we keep your data
Clinical records are retained only as long as needed for your care and to meet professional and legal record-keeping obligations, after which they are securely deleted or destroyed.
Security
Records are stored securely, access is limited to Ms. Claudee, and reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are in place to protect your information against loss, misuse, or unauthorised access.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for corrections, or withdraw consent to its processing (which may affect our ability to continue providing services). To exercise any of these rights, message us on WhatsApp or email us using the details below.
Children and adolescents
For clients under 18, personal data is collected and handled with the consent and involvement of a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the effective date shown above.
